Attitude – It All Lies Here

Remember I have said “A lot depends on you the and the *lots* are dependent on you”

It is the attitude you carry enables you to perceive and generate a mindset, environment and mood for you as well for those who count on you.

A good attitude is a magic potion, creates wonders and so is vice versa. Throwing tantrums all the time to encash the powers at one’s behest often doesn’t yield results. At times one’s wit, presence of mind, empathy can lead to mellowing down of tense situations. “One of the Leadership Trait”

I remember vividly once, some ten years down the line, when we were finalizing the bill of our primary contractor and due to various reasons the process was highly delayed. The situation in the meeting room was tense with loathing of accusations on both sides of the table. Things seemed unresolvable even after long drawn meetings, when at one instance my manager appeared and articulated,

“Gentlemen, how long did the battle of Mahabharat go on for” there was stunning silence……….other side of the table……….”Went on for ages” ………. .So we have time….!!!

…………..Giggles and laughter in the room.

A small statement and a mammoth impact.

It was this witty attitude combined with presence of mind which led to the easing of the tense situation enabling co-ordial and smooth culmination.

Remember again attitude makes a lot of difference. It was the belief I think he carried to the board room.

Now can we agree that it’s our attitude that determines the success and effectiveness of the successful completion of the task.
